Copyright and Licensing

Authors own the copyright of their work published in the journal, and the published articles are made available under the CC BY 4.0 license. The author(s) retain unrestricted copyrights and publishing rights.

By submitting their work to the journal, the authors are deemed to have accepted the following conditions:

  1. The copyright of the published article belongs to its author under the CC BY 4.0 license.
  2. The authors authorize Letters on Applied and Pure Mathematics to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher.
  3. The authors grant the right to freely use the article to any third party as long as the original authors and citation details are identified.
  4. Nothing in this license impairs or restricts an author’s right to preserve the integrity and ownership of their work.
  5. Commercial use is permitted under CC BY 4.0, provided proper attribution is given and the license terms are followed.

All articles published since the first issue of the journal are open access.

Authors allow the intellectual work they submit to be published by the Publisher under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors publishing with the journal retain the copyright to their work licensed under CC BY 4.0.

Copyright Agreement Form

The Copyright Agreement Form must be signed with a blue pen and uploaded to the system as a PDF. The form may be completed in separate copies by authors from different institutions; however, all signatures must be signed with a blue pen, combined into a single PDF, and uploaded to the system.

Digital Archiving

Articles published in this journal are digitally archived in LOCKSS. The LOCKSS system has permission to collect, preserve, and present this Archive Unit.

Author Commitment During Submission

During submission, the following commitment is received from the author (via the Copyright Agreement Form):

  1. I declare that I am the author of a work entitled NAME OF ARTICLE, intended for publication in the journal, and that I have full copyright and property rights to this work.
  2. I guarantee that the work does not infringe copyright, trademark, patent, or other third party property rights. My rights to store the work, duplicate it in print (as well as in digital form), make it available online, and put multiplied copies of the work into circulation worldwide are unlimited.
  3. I declare that the work has never been published before and has not been submitted to any other publisher.
  4. I am aware that the journal is published under a Creative Commons license. By submitting an article to the journal, I agree to make it available under the CC BY 4.0 license listed above.
  5. I also agree to make any necessary changes in the work resulting from the editor’s proofreading, on the condition that the final version of the primary text and any additional materials require acceptance by the author.

The contributor(s), or if applicable the contributor’s employer, retain(s) all proprietary rights in addition to copyright and patent rights.
