Author Guidelines
Preparing Manuscript
Letters on Applied and Pure Mathematics is an international journal devoted to research concerning all aspects of pure and applied mathematics. Requirements for acceptance of papers include originality, scientific significance, and clarity of presentation.
Submissions are accepted with the understanding that the article is the original work of the authors and that the same, or a substantially similar paper, has not been published, nor is under consideration for publication, in another journal.
The submitted contributions must be in English. Manuscripts not written in English will not be considered for publication.
Papers should be written in the usual style of scientific journals. For details, please consult articles in the most recent issues of this journal.
Papers should be prepared in TeX or LaTeX and submitted in electronic format exclusively via this website.
The author may suggest the name of an editor and potential reviewers (with brief reasons for the proposal) in the box “Comments to the Editor” when starting the submission process.

Abstract
Please provide an abstract of 150 to 250 words. The abstract should be self-contained and should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references.
Keywords
Please provide 3 to 5 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.
Classification code
An appropriate number of MSC codes should be provided. The Mathematics Subject Classification (MSC) is used to categorize items covered by the two reviewing databases, Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt MATH.
MSC (AMS): www.ams.org/msc
Title Style Rule
Please write the manuscript title in sentence case: capitalize only the first word of the title and any proper nouns, acronyms, or standard abbreviations. All other words should be written in lowercase.
Example
- Existence and uniqueness of weak solutions in Banach spaces
- Finite time blow-up for an inhomogeneous strongly damped fourth-order wave equation with nonlinear memory
AMS Reference Style
References should be formatted following the American Mathematical Society (AMS) citation style. Abbreviated journal names should be written according to Mathematical Reviews serials abbreviations.
